About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and confident brand and marketing consultant to join our growing team. Your primary role will be facilitating marketing production workshops and audit to effectively align Outfit’s capabilities with our clients’ brand and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing for, and running client workshops and consulting sessions
  • Preparing and supplying post-workshop findings and recommendations reports
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to external clients and internal teams This means meeting deadlines, being proactive and keeping flexible in your delivery
  • Staying in control of client and internal communications across face-to-face, email, phone, chat and more, replying in a timely manner
  • Maintaining strong and positive relationships with current and past clients
  • Producing high quality, well researched strategy documents including marketing production plans and onboarding documents
  • Analysing business performance and proposing initiatives, tactics or activities to improve your client’s business
  • Providing strong business logic and an analytical foundation to justify your recommendations
  • Uncovering innovative insights and business opportunities for your clients
  • Undertaking sales and new business development including developing sales documents, proposals, sales calls and meetings, pitches and tenders as required
  • Improving internal business templates and processes to enhance the service we offer to our clients
  • Marketing and promotion assistance for Outfit across all areas of marketing as required

Skills/Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in an agency or marketing role
  • Brand insight development, consumer research and facilitation skills
  • Strong planning skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take full responsibility for clients and projects
  • Ability to deliver top quality work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to mentor other employees
  • Experience in leading and driving new business pitches
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Expertise in brand and marketing strategy with a proven track record of original and creative thinking that drives results
  • Leadership that spans initial problem analysis, interrogation of core issues and possibilities, connecting the dots and framing the ultimate answer
  • Ability to produce inspiring briefs and new business pitches through persuasive storytelling
  • Strong ideation facilitation, communication and presentation skills
  • Good market research skills, knowledge about market trends, and a clear understanding of brand promotion
  • Tertiary education degree or equivalent in business, marketing, advertising, PR, commerce or economics
